The Benefits of Books by Hana S. H.

Reading is an every-day part of life that most people don't even think twice about; the newspaper, signs alongside the road, and labels on food. And the benefits to reading that? Well, the newspaper provides with you with global news, road signs to show the speed limit, and food labels to display the contents of a container of food. But what about an average book? Do fictional tales benefit you at all?

The answer is “yes!” Books do benefit you and your mind, one way being stress reduction. Any stress build up during the day slips away when you lose yourself in a good book. Tension drains away and your mind calms—and this is just one of the benefits! Knowledge is another no-brainier, even purely fictional tales often have a moral. Knowledge can be accumulated in large amounts thanks to books, along with new and rich vocabulary—soon you'll find yourself an avid reader!

Books can be an essential part of life to some people, and if books are lacking in their lives, those people might find their joy depreciating. In the Children hospitals, kids and their parents often find themselves longing for the comfort of a pleasant book in which they may dive into. And yet, some of these hospitals may lack a well-supplied library. By donating books to Zakat Foundation, we will pass these books along to the hospitals where kids and adults alike can enjoy a book—just like you.

Why I Love To Read Books. By Adam Hubert.

I go to the library to check out books. Sometimes I go on imaginary adventures. I read the book in my head.  I read nonfiction and fiction books. We checkout a lot of books when we go to the library. I read a ton of books. My favorite book is Into The woods by Faith Erin Hicks, and J.Torres. It's a graphic novel about big foot boy.  The main character is Rufus.  He is a hero in the story.  The word Sasquatch can change Rufus into a Bigfoot boy. he looks like a red bear. If you get a chance read this book.  I am happy to be part of the Rescue Rangers collecting books for children hospitals. Please bring your lightly used books so others can enjoy reading them.

Books

I met some kids who like to read and others not so much. Sometimes the reason is they can't find any good books because of a small choice, and when the choices are limited the books they can choose are boring or not their type of book. Children at hospitals can be very bored, and no good books could make it extra boring. That's why we have a goal to raise 1,000 books for children hospitals. You could easily donate books you don't like or already read (make sure they are slightly used and new) and if there is different types of books it can make it less boring for the people who read and more choices of books kids can choose from. How about all us try to achieve our goal for these children and hey even adults to make their time at the hospital not boring. I dare you!

Why am I part of the Rescue Rangers?

I'm part of the Rescue Rangers because I like helping people. Right now the Rescue Rangers are collecting books for the CHOP and DuPont hosptial's libraries. I love going to the library but when kids are stuck in the hospital they can't go to a library, other than the ones inside the hospital. Their families would like to read books. We collected around 300 and our goal is to collect 1000 by the begainning of April.

Hospital libraries give comfort to patients and families!

I want to talk about how important the libraries are in the hospitals.

Hospital libraries give comfort to the children who are admitted to the hospitals.

Kids sometimes stay there for weeks and month. Whenever I stay there as a patient my first thought is to go and visit the library and get some books and video games. Library books also help the family members of the patients.

Reading books is a very relaxing hobby. It takes away the stress and strain of the hospital stays. I know it did for me and my family

Please help us collect books to be donated to the hospital and join us in spreading this gesture of support and bring joy to lives of those patients and families.

Thank you !

Why are We Collecting Books?

We are collecting books for sick children in hospitals. We are giving books to them because they are bored. They need something to give them company. Not only are kids bored, adults are too.  So we need adults and children books. Please help by finding some books that you hardly read. Thank You!
