Indonesian Culture Fun Unique Facts

Indonesia is a country that is full of Muslims. These are some unique fun facts on Indonesia:

• It has over 17,000 islands and it is the largest archipelago in the world!( An archipelago is a group of islands)
• There is over 580 languages and dialects. Except the formal language is Bahasa Indonesia.
• Rice is the main food Indonesians have. Most Indonesians don't have a full meal until they have rice. (Even if they ate a lot of other things!)
• Before Indonesia was the home of seven wonder worlds!
• Indonesia is one of the largest Muslim population. It is not a Muslim country though.
• It has 6 religions : Islam, Protestant, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, and Konghucu.
• People bury dead bodies in their houses.
• It is very pretty since there is many beaches.
• Java island is as big as New York State. It is in Jakarta. (Indonesia's capital)
• Indonesia is a home to the worlds largest flower, The Rafflesia aka meaning the corps flower. It is 5 ft high and 4 ft wide!
• Indonesia loves spices. If you order pizza there, you will get spice packages with it!
